Hi, I’m Ann Wallace DeRossette, and my love for the Gulf Coast runs deep!
Whether it’s the charm of coastal towns, the hidden boutiques, or the excitement of discovering a new weekend escape, I’ve always found something magical about this region. Growing up on the Mississippi River (Vicksburg, MS), I realized there’s much to see beyond the usual tourist spots. I started Gulf Coast Getaway—to highlight the unique experiences, local businesses, and can’t-miss events that make this place unique.
With a background in Strategic Communications and Social Media Strategy, I’m passionate about sharing stories in an engaging and valuable way. Through this blog, I hope to inspire others to explore more, discover hidden gems, and create their own unforgettable Gulf Coast getaways.
